Overview

Schildmeer villa park is a small park situated on the banks of the extensive Schildmeer lake. From 22 April through 31 October, guests can reserve a villa together with their own private sloop – perfect for making boat trips in the nearby region! Right next door to the park is Duurswold – where guests can tee off at one of the most scenic golf courses in this part of the country. The central location of the park also provides close access to a range of attractions well worth a visit, from the famous hanging kitchens of Appingedam to the fortified town of Bourtange where time has stood still.
