Overview

The Sportcamp Woferlgut campsite is situated in a beautiful mountain setting amid Austria's highest peak: the Grossglockner (3,797 metres). As the name suggests, Woferlgut is a sports park and sport lovers will be in their element here. There are plenty of facilities on offer: swimming, multigym, tennis, fitness training, basketball and volleyball. Of course the national outdoor sport for Salzburgers is walking along glacier streams amid the wildflowers. This campsite offers sporting activities in a natural setting. Almost a third of the region is a protected nature reserve and the area is defined by high peaks, green hills, woods, lakes, waterfalls, gorges and caves.
