Overview

The Surchauffant campsite occupies a unique spot, directly on Lac de Vouglans. The campsite offers views of the forested mountains, but if you leave the site and walk up the Pont de Pyle a bit, you’ll come to a beautiful view over the lake with its unusual blue-grey colour and bustling activity of boats and surfers. The daytime recreation centre next to the campsite offers a range of restaurants and bars and is also the departure point for boat tours on the lake.
