Did you know?

Did you know that the lovely town of Veere lies on the other side of the Veerse lake? Veere has quaint little shop, the Campveerse tower and various restaurants and cafes. It’s most definitely worth a visit! Make sure you visit the main church too. This church, also called Our Lady of the Snow, has served as a warehouse, barracks, military hospital, poorhouse and an exhibition space over the course of the centuries. Only the rear section of the church is used for services; the oldest part is known today as the ‘small church’.
