General terms and conditions
1 Booking your accommodation: general
Bookings can be made on our website www.rpholidays.nl (24 hours a day) or by telephoning our call centre at 0900-8810 (€ 0.20 p/m); for Belgium call +xx(0)70 778 899 (€ 0.18 p/m). Open seven days a week. Please inform us whether you are eligible for a discount immediately when you book your accommodation. Refunds are not possible. Discount schemes and organised holiday arrangements apply to a restricted number of holiday residences / campsites. Discount schemes are not applicable to organised holiday arrangements. Discount combinations are not possible, unless explicitly mentioned. Please note that not all our holiday bungalows and campsites are suitable for schools, clubs, (youth) groups or disabled persons. Prior to booking, please contact the Head of our Call Centre, who will advise you whether the holiday residences/campsites are suitable for these groups. Failure to contact the Head of the Call Centre may result in admission to the bungalow or camping place in question being refused, without a refund of the booking sum. A limited number of holiday residences/campsites has been reserved for single young persons under the age of 21, who should contact the Head of our Call Centre prior to booking. RP Holidays offers you the possibility of receiving your confirmation by e-mail, for speedier settlement.
2 Booking a campsite
After booking your accommodation, you will, in addition to a confirmation, receive payment instructions plus an obligation-free offer of weather and cancellation insurance (cancellation insurance only for Euroase). The first payment, which is due 15 days after booking, consists of 50 percent of the camping or organised camping charges. This amount is raised by a contribution for administration costs of € 6.25 per week or part of a week, to a maximum of € 20 and a possible preference surcharge. Any applicable discounts (e.g. for young families, or 50+ discounts) are included. The second payment, which is due eight weeks prior to arrival, consists of the other 50 percent. Local taxes and possible additional bookings, e.g. for bicycles are included. Any adjustments to the calculated fees should be paid prior to arrival. If you book within 8 weeks prior to the day of arrival, the entire invoice amount should be paid. In the case of camping offers, the presence of a caravan or tent is required at the campsite for the duration of the booking period. We reserve the right to locate special camping offers at sites determined by RP. During the special offer period such sites will not be available for one-night bookings.
3 Booking a holiday residence
After having booked a reservation for a period of your choice, you receive booking confirmation plus an obligation-free offer of weather and cancellation insurance (cancellation insurance only for Euroase and Roompot Ferien- und Golfresort Cochem). Discounts (e.g. for young families or 50+ discounts) are included. The first payment day, which is due 15 days after booking, consists of 50 percent of the rental price. This amount is raised by a contribution for administration costs of € 12.95 per week or part of a week, to a maximum of € 26. The second instalment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. This instalment contains the other 50 percent of the rent. Local taxes, additional bookings such as children’s furniture, duvet packages etc., as well as the deposit are included. Invoice amounts for bookings within a period of 8 weeks prior to arrival must be promptly paid in full.
4 Payment
The down payment stated on your confirmation should be paid 15 days after booking. If you opted for weather and cancellation insurance (only cancellation insurance for Euroase and Roompot Ferien- und Golfresort Cochem), the premium should also have been paid within that period. The remainder should be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. If your booking takes place within a period of 8 weeks prior to your arrival, you are required to pay the full invoice amount by return of post. If it proves to be the case that the booking sum or part of the booking sum has not been (fully) paid into RP Holidays’ bank account upon your arrival, you will be required to pay the (remainder of) the booking sum on location. If you book within a period of 3 working days prior to your arrival, your must pay the full invoice amount on arrival at the park. In accordance with Recron Terms and Conditions, your reservation will be cancelled if payment is overdue. All expenses incurred during your stay, including telephone charges etc., must be paid on the day of departure.
5 Changes and cancellations
Any changes in the period of your stay after you have booked your accommodation are possible up to two weeks prior to arrival for reservations of rented objects during the periods in which discounts are permitted (see price lists). Changes during periods in which no discounts are permitted are possible up to two months prior to arrival. If you have taken out weather and/or cancellation insurance through RP Holidays and wish to change instead of cancel, different terms apply. In such cases you can apply for any changes within the periods mentioned in writing or by e-mail to RP Holidays, Cancellation Department, Postbus 12, 4493 ZG Kamperland or go to @roompot.nl. Additional bookings, or prolonging your stay will always be possible, depending on availability. Changes or cancellations should be passed on to our website at www.rpholidays.nl/info, or by telephone to our Call Centre, Tel: 0900-8810 (€ 0.20 p/m); for Belgium the number is xxx (0)70 778 899 (€ 0.18 p/m). We will charge you € 12.50 extra for changing registered bookings. If you have taken out Interpolis cancellation insurance, you will automatically find an Interpolis claim form with your cancellation note, which enables you to claim any expenses that are not refunded according to Recron Terms and Conditions. If you did not take out insurance and you cancel your booking, minimally 15 percent of the basic price will be charged, in accordance with Recron Terms and Conditions. It is not possible to make changes via RP Holidays Reisbureau Parken.
6 Holiday information folder
You will receive your holiday information folder by post, approximately 10 day prior to arrival. If you booked 5 days prior to arrival, you will receive the information folder from the receptionist.
7 Your stay
The campsites and holiday bungalows are available from 3 p.m. on the date of arrival. The normal time limit for arrivals can be found in your holiday information folder. If you are likely to arrive later, please notify reception. If, without prior notification, you fail to arrive within 24 hours after the agreed date, such failure will be regarded as a cancellation. You are required to have vacated your holiday accommodation before 10 a.m. on the date of departure. Campsites must be vacated before 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.; the exact times are stated in your reservation document. We reserve the right to carry out cleaning activities around the bungalows / campsites from 8 a.m. in the mornings. All guests are required to observe the rules stated in the park regulations. Violation of these rules may result in exclusion from the park without refund. The park regulations are available from the park reception desk. We do not accept any responsibility for the following:
1. Theft, loss or damage, of whatever kind, during or as a result of a stay in the parks or in the holiday residences.
2. Defects or malfunctions of technical appliances, breakdown or closure of amenities in the parks or holiday residences.
3. Information provided orally or by telephone.
4. Inconvenience or nuisance, caused by third parties outside our responsibility.
5. Consequences of participation in sports courses, adventures or activities organised by the park.
8 Privacy
Your personal data will be stored in the RP Holiday address file. The data will be used for responsible operational management and for sending to you our own commercial offers or those of any third parties carefully selected by us. We do not provide third parties with data that might affect your privacy. If you do not wish to receive messages or mail from us you can report this in writing to RP Holidays, Postbus 12, NL 4493 ZG Kamperland. If you object to address data being made available to third parties, you can also notify us in writing to such effect. Our address file is registered at the College Bescherming Persoonsgegevens (CBP) [Netherlands Data Protection Agency] under number m1012567.
9 Miscellaneous
- No rights can be derived from the object, room or place number stated on your reservation document unless the preference surcharge has been paid.
- In the unlikely event that the object, room or place number stated on your reservation document is not available, you will be offered a suitable alternative.
- The rent or camping fee for parks with a (covered) swimming pool or swimming paradise includes admission to such an amenity (except the thermal pool at Arcen). If there is no swimming pool in the park selected by you, check this magazine to find out if you can use another swimming paradise at another park free of charge.
- Different parks have different admission policies for pets. Please ask for information when you book your reservation.
- Delayed registration of a pet may lead to admission refusal without the possibility of a refund.
- Deposits: You will find all holiday residences in a clean state. You are requested to leave the residence / private bathroom in accordance with the condition stated on the information card or the cleaning guide in the service set in your holiday residence / private bathroom. In connection with our ‘final check’ we are obliged to charge a deposit for the period of reservation per booked object. This also applies to the sanitary units at comfortPlus and Kingsize locations. Deposit sums are stated in the table of charges. Any outstanding items not paid on departure will be deducted from your deposit. You will be notified in writing about possible deductions. Deposits are paid back not later than 7 days after your departure, provided the holiday residence / private bathroom is left in a state in accordance with our regulations, and your bank account or giro account number is known to us. Account numbers may be passed on to us immediately on booking or on departure. The cost of additional cleaning agency work is deducted from the deposit. In certain situations/periods we reserve the right to charge an extra deposit or payment for additional cleaning work or for extra linen.
Note: The right to a deposit refund lapses 2 years after departure.
- Local taxes. All prices in this magazine are exclusive of local taxes. The applicable sum depends, among other things, on the municipality in which you temporarily reside, and is fixed annually. Local taxes are imposed on all persons, babies included.
- Amounts under € 10 are not refunded.
- Any catering vouchers your ordered are handed over during the park check-in. These vouchers can only be spent in bars and restaurants run by Roompot and Euroase Campings, Kampeerresorts en Parken. Catering vouchers are valid for the period stated on the vouchers themselves. No cash is refunded for the vouchers and remaining vouchers cannot be returned.
- Some park facilities or catering establishments may be closed in the preseason or late season.
- In connection with frost, all water taps and dishwasher/sanitary units at all campsites are closed. You will of course be able to enter the sanitary buildings.
- In some cases, one or two babies / toddlers are permitted per holiday residence in addition to the maximum number of persons. Extra beds or other relevant items are not regularly present. Please ask for information when you book your accommodation.
- Child furniture can be hired for most holiday residences. This does not guarantee that such furniture is capable of being placed anywhere in the bedrooms. Please ask for information when booking your accommodation.
- The holiday residences are each individually furnished.
- We expressly reserve the right to change the layout and furnishings of our sites and the accompanying objects.
- Photographs of The Hague and surroundings are made available by Den Haag Marketing & Events.
- All artist’s impressions and photographs © in this magazine are intended to be faithful representations, but no rights can be derived from them.
- We are not legally bound by any recognisable misprints or errors in this magazine.
- All prices in this magazine are stated in euros and are inclusive of current VAT rates.
- We will do our utmost to provide you with our best services. If, in spite of our efforts, you have a justified complaint, please inform the park management immediately on location for a speedy solution by our staff. If your complaint is not dealt with to your satisfaction, you have the opportunity, within a period of not more than 3 weeks after your departure, to submit your complaint in writing to RP Holidays, afdeling BIKO, Postbus 12, NL 4493 ZG Kamperland. Dutch law applies exclusively to all agreements between you and RP Holidays.
